Sir Pentious is a demon in Hell who takes residence in the Hazbin Hotel to redeem himself. The character is voiced by Alex Brightman.
Sir Pentious first appears in the YouTube pilot where he is embroiled in a turf war with Cherry Bomb shortly after the angels’ extermination.
He later attacks the newly christened Hazbin Hotel but is handily dealt with by Alastor.
Pentious has egg minions he calls the Egg Bois and travels around in a flying ship with several weapons.
Room for improvement
Sir Pentious attacked the hotel a week later, calling Alastor his nemesis. His reason for doing so was to grab the attention of the Vees and garner favor with them.
Pentious is defeated once again but returns as a prospective tenant at the hotel. He is actually sent by Vox to spy on the hotel and its progress.
Angel Dust finds out that Pentious is a spy and he is subsequently disowned and ridiculed by Vox.
Seeing his sorry state, Charlie offers him a place in the hotel where he can work on his soul and improve.
Sir Pentious has some trouble getting along with the others and letting go of his villainous ways but gradually shows growth.
He learns to trust Angel after Vaggie throws them both right into the midst of a battle.
Pentious is in love with Cherry Bomb but doesn’t have to courage to tell her when they all go out partying.
During the final battle with Adam and his exorcists, Pentious sacrifices himself to help his friends.
His actions prove enough for him to be reborn in Heaven, showcasing that there is hope for the souls of Hell.
