Nina: Good Omens season 2 character explained

Nina is a shop owner who is in a troublesome relationship and gets caught up in Aziraphale and Crowley’s problems. Nina is portrayed by Nina Sosanya.

Nina owns the coffee shop “Give Me Coffee or Give Me Death” which is across the road from Aziraphale’s bookshop. She’s nice to most of her regulars but she isn’t afraid to be straightforward either.

Nina has a partner who is very possessive and insecure so she is constantly checking on Nina to find out where she is and what she is doing. When she doesn’t get the response she is after, she begins berating Nina and putting her down.

Maggie owns the record store across the road and she is also attracted to Nina but she’s too afraid to do anything about it. With some divine help from Aziraphale and Crowley, and the crazy circumstances, Nina and Maggie eventually grow closer together.

Humans are weird

When Crowley struggles to decide whether he should help Aziraphale or not, he ends up getting struck by lightning which traps Nina and Maggie together in Nina’s cafe.

Maggie finds out about Nina’s partner and Nina learns about Maggie’s attachment to her record store. Azirphale lies to the angels that he performed a miracle to make them fall in love so him and Crowley try to actually make it happen.

Crowley uses the power of rain and Nina and Maggie do have a conversation about what happened in the cafe but it doesn’t end well. Aziraphale holds a ball in his bookshop but Nina isn’t in the right mindspace because her partner broke up with her.

Nina and Maggie potentially live happily ever after

She does choose to stay behind when Maggie refuses to leave Aziraphale alone with the rest of the demons. Once the chaos settles down, they meet Crowley and tell him that while they do care for each other, they won’t start dating just yet because Nina has a lot of things to work on.
