Keila is the tech genius of Berlin’s crew who has a complicated dynamic with one of her crewmates. The character is played by Michelle Jenner.
Keila is a university graduate in electrical engineering, but her high-level intellect is counteracted by her pathological shyness.
Keila is unable to conduct herself casually in social situations and even develops a virtual reality simulation to experience those situations.
She is often butting heads with Bruce because of his crass behavior. He flirts with her often and even though she fundamentally doesn’t like guys like him, she finds herself falling for him.
She openly criticizes the way he talks about women but secretly reveals to Cameron that she is obsessed with his scent and has an intense physical attraction toward him.
A long journey ahead
Bruce asks Keila for help tying up a loose end at the bike rental place where his face is in their records but after a successful mission, Bruce once again says something inappropriate.
Their role in the escape plan is to disguise as backpackers traveling the country. However, when they are informed of the roadblocks, they have to switch paths.
She is still mad at him when they choose to camp in the forest, so Bruce decides to sleep outside the tent.
She calls him back in when it starts raining incessantly, and has to control herself while being so close to him.
Keila then gets up to relieve herself but is bitten by a venomous Asp viper. She develops an allergic reaction to the poison and Bruce has to rush her to the nearest village.
They run into some police officers instead, and Keila is safely transported to the hospital on time.
The entire situation unravels and she is only witness to parts of it because of her grogginess, but once they are safe, she tells him that she was touched by his determination.
