Andy recruits Jon Anthony because they need a master of disguise for the heist in Santa’s village. Once they enter the place, they need to blend in with the other elves, which means they need clothes that resemble the ones that the elves in Santa’s village wear.
Jon Anthony is going to be on disguise duty. Jon Anthony has no issue redesigning the clothes that the elves in Santa’s village are wearing. The problem is that Andy’s team doesn’t know what kind of clothes the elves there wear.
Hence, Jon Anthony will have to come up with something that will help them blend in. Jon Anthony confidently accepts the challenge.

The reason Jon Anthony is on the Naughty List is unknown. However, during a conversation between him and Rose, it is hinted at what it is. It turns out that Jon Anthony has never designed original clothes. He has only copied other people’s work.
Jon Anthony Originals are all fake and copied designs. Designing the clothes of elves for the Naughty Nine is Jon Anthony’s first original work.
After getting his hands on the gift that he wanted, which is an advanced sewing machine called the PR-980, Jon Anthony tells Laurel, Andy, and Dulce of the Naughty Nine about his secret as well.
The truth is, he wasn’t sure if he could design something of his own. So he relied on his natural swagger, which has helped him sell so many of his copied clothes.
