Amazon Prime Video’s ‘Inside Edge’, a sports-centric Indian drama, returns with a third season delving deeper into the internal affairs of the game of cricket. It exposes the lure of power, wicked manipulations, politics and rivalries that often gets masked by its dazzling appearance.

Synopsis
“Amidst the greatest show on earth: an India v/s Pakistan cricket series, the politics of Indian cricket is laid bare, its secrets unravelled and truths exposed.
“The stakes have never been higher, even as they are investigated for corruption, battle lines are drawn for TV rights, endorsement deals and the captaincy of the Indian team. But what is the limit to the price of power?”

The executive producers of ‘Inside Edge’ season 3 are Ritesh Sidhwani, Kassim Jagmagia, Farhan Akhtar. The web series is co-produced by Mohit Shah and Karan Anshuman.
Producer, Farhan Akhtar said:
“The show has drama, thrill, sporting action, the emotional upheaval and disappointment that it can bring when you are watching the game. There are some fantastically written characters. The fact that we are in season three is a testament in itself that people have enjoyed this world and characters and are wanting to see more.”
The creator and director of ‘Inside Edge’, Karan Anshuman said:
“We have expanded it this time. We have Test cricket now, which is the epitome of the sport. Every female character is in a position of power.”
“We have women taking the centre stage, they are calling the shots. We are also looking into the politics of cricket and what goes into the dirty business of broadcast, it is fiction, these are the few themes.”
Vivel Oberoi, starring as Vikrant Dhawan in the show, said:
“It is a multi-genre series. The soul of Inside Edge is the characters, there is a high sense of identification with every character. Over the seasons, the writers have kept the characters layered, getting deeper and seeing their vulnerabilities. This is a challenge in terms of writing and Karan and the writers have done a phenomenal job.”

It gets further tarnished with the lust for power, brutal fight for captaincy, internal politics and widespread corruption.
