Plot summary:

Parker is on a special forces team conducting a mission abroad when she gets a call from her hometown informing her of her father’s death.

She meets the local sheriff, Jesse Swann, who tells her that Harry was in his mine when there was a cave-in and they found the body too late.

Jesse is investigating the death as a suicide but Parker is certain her father wouldn’t kill himself.

She goes home above the bar that Harry built and runs into Mike who worked for Harry. He says that he was the one who found the body and shows her the spot.

She finds something suspicious about the rocks there and looks into Harry’s death. Parker contacts her friend in the force, Spider, to look into the security cameras Harry installed.

He says that he will need some time to go through the footage and will get back to her. She also has him look up Elvis Swann, Jesse’s arrogant younger brother.

Spider tells her that Elvis has been involved in some weapons deals on the darkweb and she believes he might have had something to do with Harry’s death.

Jesse and Elvis’ father Ezekiel is the local senator running for re-election and the county is named after their family.

Parker trails Elvis for a while and sees him making a deal for some guns with a domestic terrorist on the FBI’s watchlist.

Jesse and Parker used to date when they were in high school so while they are catching up, Ezekiel joins them and invites Parker to dinner at their house over the weekend.

While she is there, Ezekiel talks to her about getting an endorsement because people in town like her and they all admired her father.

Parker gets a message telling her that Elvis is at the mine so she excuses herself and rushes back to her place.

Elvis and his buddies are trying to clear out the cave in but Parker stops them. One of them goes to the bar and starts setting it on fire so that they can escape.

Parker had slashed their tires before hand and after escaping the building with her belongings, she proceeds to beat up Elvis.

Jesse shows up and arrests her for assault. She is taken to the lockup where she tells Jesse that she’s got CCTV footage from cameras that Harry installed.

She also gets a lawyer thanks to Spider who tries to get her out of there. Jesse follows the lawyer and kills him.

They then start torturing Parker for the footage because it would incriminate them. They have been using the mine to get into the army base nearby and stealing weapons.

Parker is certain that her father caught them and that is what got him killed. She manages to escape from the station and crashes her car along the way.

A friend finds her and takes her to Mike’s place where he and his mother help her recover. The terrorist already paid for more weapons and is getting impatient about the delay.

Elvis finally clears out the path but insist that it will take a few days for them to get everything.

After she has recovered some of strength, Parker gets geared up to take on the Swann family and avenge her father.

Ending explained:

Getting the truth

The terrorist beats Ezekiel and tells Jesse to take him to the mine so that he can get the weapons himself.

Meanwhile, Parker arms herself and goes to the Swann Mansion where she finds Ezekiel tied up.

She asks him how her father died and then leaves. She discovers that Harry discovered what the Swann’s were doing and went to blow up the mine.

Jesse shot him in the back and he sacrificed himself by letting go of the grenade pin. She doesn’t give Mike an answer when he asks if she killed Ezekiel.

Stopping a terror plot

Parker heads back to the mine where the terrorists are loading up their weapons. She’s keeping watch from afar when Spider shows up at the mine.

The criminals overpower him but Parker blows up one of the trucks to cause some chaos. She infiltrates the mine and frees Spider so that they can get rid of the weapons.

Spider uses an RPG to blow up the cache and Parker kills the leader of the terrorists before the other townspeople show up to help.

She also kills Elvis and starts looking for Spider among the rubble.

Finishing the job

She goes after Jesse who is the only one left and follows the cave that leads to the military base.

She pretends like she needs help to distract the soldiers and then goes looking for Jesse. They scufflie for a bit and then he grabs the pin out of a grenade.

She offers to help him get out with his life but Jesse says he doesn’t want it. He admits that he tried to loop Harry in when he found out but Harry refused.

He wishes he would got out of town like she did because the place only swallows people up. He pushes her away and kills himself with the grenade.

A month later, the bar is being rebuilt with Mike looking after it and the local community is looking to change the county’s name after all the Swann’s were exposed as criminals.

Parker and Spider are traveling together with soldiers still looking for them to find out what exactly happened in that small town.
