Taylor: Sugar character explained

In Sugar, Taylor becomes a lead in Olivia’s case. However, she ends up sharing some grave truths about Davy. Isabella Briggs plays Taylor.

Melanie remembers Taylor from six weeks ago, when she originally had plans with Olivia, who backed out, claiming that she isn’t feeling well, but later that day was seen with Taylor.

Melanie recounts that the two were having an intense conversation. Taylor was upset about something. This sees Melanie and Sugar searching for Taylor.

Taylor’s experience with Davy

Sugar and Melanie track Taylor down and learn her story. The conversation Taylor and Olivia had was about Olivia’s brother, Davy.

Taylor found Olivia on social media, talking about helping women escape abusive men. At first, Taylor sees Olivia as a hypocrite. She texts her by asking her to look in her own backyard, addressing Davy.

Taylor is an actress. A couple of months ago, she got an audition for a Bernie Siegel film. It is then that she contacts Davy Siegel because she knows him socially.

She shares this news with Davy, which she regrets. At first, Davy is all excited for her until he starts insisting that he come over and prepare her for the audition.

Taylor politely keeps refusing, but he won’t let it go, leading her to tell him bluntly that it’s not happening.

Davy replies by sending Taylor a video of her and Davy getting intimate. The two hooked up once, and he uses it to blackmail her.

Taylor got angry and felt violated. Davy threatens to put the tape online if she doesn’t let him come over.

Taylor responds by reporting Davy to the cops. Being a Siegel, nothing happened. The next day, Taylor received a call from a lawyer offering Taylor money to sign an NDA about Davy.

When Taylor shared all of this with Olivia, the latter revealed that Taylor is not the only one. Sexual blackmail is Davy’s thing.

Taylor’s confession suggests that Davy had a reason to hurt Olivia. If this behavior of Davy becomes public, his career will suffer heavily.

Something like this happens at the end of episode four when news about an actress accusing Davy of sexual harassment spreads.
