Plot summary:

Gokhan gained serious notoriety after his speech at the summit, giving the people the money seized from his foundation.

He and his followers retreat into an underground sewer system after the government labels them terrorists.

Gokhan learned the origins of Kubra and visited Berk to formally acknowledge their partnership in seizing power.

They start working together to cause chaos and bring down corrupt individuals within the government.

Turgut and Minister Ekrem are under pressure, which goes down to Kara, who is pushed to find and stop Gokhan.

His people have no leads and he wonders where they could have disappeared or how they could hack the most secure systems in the country.

Merve’s father is the first to question Gokhan’s motives after they are stuck underground for days without any contact.

The authorities start rounding up people associated with Gokhan and question them but he promises that he will get them out.

The first part of his plan is to expose the corrupt minister Ekrem who covered up a hit-and-run involving his son.

He does it publicly and then goes back into hiding. Ekrem has to step down and Turgut takes his place.

Turgut takes his place but he is now working with Gokhan after being forced to follow. Berk gets more power-hungry and Adem tells Selim and Deniz the truth about Kubra.

Some dissent grows within Gokhan’s camp and Merve is one of the first to doubt him. He admits the truth to her and she secretly goes to Kara to turn herself and Gokhan in.

Gulcan also finds out the truth and runs away with Serhat to be safe from all the danger they are put through.

Merve’s information leads Kara and his men to Gokhan’s hideout while he is outside looking for Gulcan.

The police storm the sewers and during the escape, Gokhan’s mother is shot dead. The rest of them escape and Merve admits to Gokhan that she gave Kara the information.

Berk tells Gokhan that she needs to be punished for her betrayal, and when the other followers realized that she was the mole he is left with no choice.

They reminisce about the good times they had with each other and then Gokhan poisons Merve and kills her.

With his mother and wife dead, Gokhan begins to get more desperate. Kara is suspended but is still determined to catch Gokhan.

Gulcan wants to meet her brother so Serhat reaches out with a message. Kara learns about Serhat’s movements and keeps an eye on their house.

His instinct is right as he captures Gokhan, Ali Cemal, and Salih before they can meet Gulcan.

Deniz goes to the police and tells them about Kubra and how they made ‘Semavi’. The police plan to take down Kubra, while Kara interrogates Gokhan.

He tells Ali and Salih the truth about Kubra and turns them against each other until Gokhan names the company involved.

He then takes them back to the police station while Berk’s office is raided and Kubra is shut down.

Selim and Deniz are taken in for questioning but Berk goes searching for Gokhan at his base where the other men capture him.

He tells them the truth and claims that he can help find Gokhan. Gokhan’s men find out that he was arrested and believe Gulcan betrayed him.

They search for her and Serhat tells her to flee but Berk finds her. While he is chasing her, she stumbles and hits her head on a rock, dying instantly.

He hides her body and then gets a message from Kubra. It had managed to make a contingency and he convinced the others that they were back in business.

Gokhan is being transported to prison but they are intercepted by his men. They go back to their neighborhood and barricade themselves.

Berk completely loses his mind and rambles on but Gokhan shoots him in the head.

Ending the fight

With his sister dead too, Gokhan has had enough so he makes a deal with Kara to surrender.

He buries Gulcan and wants to turn himself over but Ali isn’t ready and rallies the other men to keep fighting.

They bring out the hostages they were holding and promise to hurt them if the police shut off their internet or power.

Gokhan helps Selim, Deniz, and Adem escape but asks them for one last favor. He broadcasts a message to everyone where he tells the truth and asks people to stand down.

Then heads to the place where he killed Merve and plans to kill himself.

A new world

Kara shows up and tries to talk Gokhan into turning himself in. They have a frank conversation about what they have been through.

Gokhan reaches down for something and the police immediately shoot him even though Kara doesn’t want them to.

Gokhan dies in Kara’s arms, believing that this is his punishment for all the pain and suffering he caused.

His followers drop their arms and head back to their lives. Salih cannot deal with the emotions and kills himself.

Serhat is grieving the loss of Gulcan, the woman he loved and hoped to spend his life with.

Months pass by and Ali Cemal is seen smiling at Adem. An individual gets a message on their phone from Kubra, telling them they are special.
