Hibiki Sakurama is one of the major supporting characters in Go! Go! Loser Ranger! Daishi Kajita voices the character in the anime.
Hibiki is an optimist and a cheerful lad working as a friendly ranger cadet. He excitedly convinces a disguised D to join the Rangers.
He works with Yumeko and later D, to rid the institution he belongs to, of the corruption that runs deep in it.
Hibiki’s idealistic optimism is reflected in his warm personality and kind, moral heart. Despite being a colorless ranger, he has a lot of skills and is unusually powerful to make himself a worthy fighter.
A true Ranger
Hibiki learns of the true identity of D when he overhears his conversation with Yumeko. He later learns that the battles between the Dragon Keepers and the Dusters for the past decade have been a big sham.
However, he doesn’t want to expose D’s identity. Instead, he wants to join him in changing and reforming the Rangers association for the better.
He truly believes that humanity and the monsters of the Invader Army can co-exist in peace in the future. He even sacrifices his arm to protect D and show his determination for the cause.
As D progresses in his mission, he begins using Hibiki’s disguise more after the real ranger goes into hiding, preparing for his mission.
