Flipkart has released its upcoming project Zindagi inShort, which is a compilation of seven love stories that will be released on Flipkart Video Originals.
Zindagi inShort is headed (and produced) by Academy Award winner Guneet Monga.
Flipkart has already released the posters for the stories titled, Sunny Side Upar, Chhaju Ke Dahi Bhalle, Pinni, Sleeping Partner, Swaaha, Thappad and Nano So Phobia.
Sunny Side Upar stars Never Kiss Your Best Friend lead Nakuul Mehta alongside Rytasha Rathore and Rima Kallingal.
Chhaju Ke Dahi Bhalle revolves around a modern-day love story which (obviously) involves online dating. The leads are Aisha Ahmed and Manjot Singh.
Pinni stars the veteran Bollywood actress Neena Gupta alongside Shishir Sharma and is directed by Tahira Kashyap Khurrana. The story revolves around “a sugar rush of emotions” and the “bitter problems” and “sweet solutions” that come with it.
Sleeping Partner stars Bollywood veterans Sanjay Kapoor and Divya Dutta. It is a story highlight the topic of marital rape and its consequences.
Starring Deepak Dobriyal and Isha Talwar, Swaaha is a story about a couple going through a shaky marriage. The wife admits to having an affair but threatens to take all her husband’s money if he tries for a divorce.
A tiny effort against bullying, Thappad focuses on a child’s ‘small idea’ to prevent bullies from bothering his sister and him.
Finally, Nano So Phobia is a unique story of dealing with one’s fears and stars Swaroop Sampat.
This web series has been created by Sikhya Entertainment – the company behind blockbusters like Period. End Of Sentence, Masaan, Gangs Of Wasseypur and The Lunchbox.
