Actor Amit Sadh has treated his fans with first looks from his upcoming project Zidd. Shepherded by Vishal Mangalorkar and co-produced by Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Akash Chawla, the original web series is slated to premiere on ZEE5.
The actor took to Instagram to share the visual:
Donning a camouflaged attire, Sadh can be seen vigilantly treading the woods in his commando outfit as the caption goes: ‘Fate whispers to the warrior, “You cannot withstand the storm”. And the warrior whispers back, “I am the storm.”‘
Further, sharing the post to his story the actor added, “Sharing the first few visuals… There is more on the way… Need your love and support! This one is beyond everything for me.”
Based on a true story, Zidd is a tale bursting with energy, optimism and hope against all odds. It’s the story of a man whose ability to turn impossible into possible, makes him unique and inspiring.
Revolving around the life of a Special Forces officer, Major Deep Singh, who is left paralyzed from the waist down after having survived the Kargil war, the web series charts the struggles of a man who is not ready to give up.
With the help of his army training and resilient attitude, Major Deep Singh is determined to get back to life and eventually on his feet despite all odds. With an urgent undercurrent of passion and grit, Zidd is a story that’ll likely inspire people from all walks of life.
As of yet the release date remains unannounced. The web series also stars Amrita Puri and Sushant Singh in pivotal roles alongside Sadh.
