ZEE5 recently shared the official trailer of God Father, an intense Tamil action thriller film which will be available for streaming from November 12, 2020.
It stars Natarajan Subramaniam (who goes by Natty), M. P. Michael (known by his stage name Lal), Ananya Nair, G. Marimuthu, and child actor Ashwanth Ashokkumar. It marks the return of the actress, Ananya, to Tamil cinema after a hiatus.
God Father is the story of a middle-class family trying to protect themselves from a notorious gangster who has set his sights on the young son. Adhiyamaan (played by Subramaniam) is a simple man who leads an ordinary life with his wife, Mithra (played by Nair), and son Arjun (played by Ashwanth).
But suddenly, there is a threat to their family in the form of Marudhu (Lal), whose son is in desperate need of a heart transplant. And that is where Arjun comes in.
An exact match, Marudhu is hell-bent on taking Arjun’s heart for his own son, and that much is evident from the trailer. There is blood and gore, and the fear that a common man experiences when he unwittingly falls into the crosshairs of a mad man.
It is the story of a father who will do anything, go to any lengths, to save his son from the clutches of the ruthless gangster.
Directed and written by Jegan Rajshekar, God Father is his directorial debut which was released in Indian theatres on February 21, 2020. It will now be available for streaming on ZEE5.
