YOU season 2 trailer: A glimpse of Joe’s new hunt

Netflix has released the trailer for the season 2 of its popular psychological thriller YOU.

The upcoming season brings along some new cast members including Victoria Pedretti (Love Quinn) and Ambyr Childers (Candace). While Pedretti plays Penn Badgley’s (Joe Goldberg) new muse and an aspiring chef, Childers plays his ex-girlfriend.

Childers made an appearance at the end of season one with as she entered Joe’s life with a surprise after he killed Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail).

The new trailer comes right after a teaser and shows Badgley changing his identity from Joe Goldberg to Will Bettelheim. He also moves to Los Angeles to create a new life where he gets a job at a grocery store.

Throughout the clip, we can see Candace keeping up with Joe’s moves to warn him at every step of the way. Likewise, we see Joe a.k.a Will completely smitten by Love. While under the impression that his ex hurt him to a great extent, Love is also head over heels for Will.

The slightly gory trailer also hints at Will’s new possible issue; Forty Quinn played by James Scully – brother of Love Quinn. Forty sits down with Will to discuss his intentions with Love which suggests some tension between the two.

Amongst the new cast members are also Jenna Ortega, Adwin Brown, Charlie Barnett, Chris D’Elia and Robert Lord Taylor amongst many.

YOU’s season 2 will be based on the novel Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes.

The new season is all set to premiere a day after Christmas on December 26, 2019. You can catch the trailer here:
