Netflix renews ‘You’ for season 4

Netflix has confirmed that ‘You’ has been renewed for a fourth season with a video on Youtube. The new season will arrive at the end of 2022.

Based on a novel by Caroline Keepnes the psychological thriller stars Penn Badgely and Victoria Pedretti in the lead. Directed by Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble the show revolves around Joe Goldberg, a bookstore manager and serial killer who falls in love and develops an extreme obsession.

Season 1 and 2 revolved around Joe being unsuccessful in love and finally settling down with Love Quinn. In the third season, which was recently released, Joe and Love are married and raising their newborn son, Henry, in the Californian suburb of Madre Linda.

Season 3 also stars Travis Van Winkle, Shalita Grant, Tati Gabrielle, and Dylan Arnold.

“Reading Caroline Kepnes’ novel, (showrunner) Greg [Berlanti] and I were instantly obsessed with Joe Goldberg and his twisted world view,” said executive producer Sera Gamble.

All three seasons of the show are available to stream on Netflix.
