“When all the evidence points towards his guilt, a man on trial for murder uses his closing argument to recount his love affair with a mysterious woman.”
“A young unnamed defendant stands in the dock accused of murder. He has fired his barrister and is now representing himself. It seems to be an open and shut case. But is it? The defendant starts to tell us a story. A love story where he falls in love with a girl named Kira. Their love story shatters when she disappears. His search for her ends up embroiling him in London’s underworld.”
The series is based on the 2017 crime novel of the same name by Imran Mahmood. It will be a four-part television series.
A young defendant finds himself fighting for his freedom as all the evidence presented points toward him being guilty of murder. But when everybody starts thinking it’s the end of the rope for the man, the guy comes up with a story that might seem far from relevant to the case at hand.
Although, it’s only when he starts getting into the details that the truth starts revealing itself as he begins narrating his love story with a girl named Kira.
