Priyanka Chopra Jonas has announced on Instagram that the sequel to her Netflix film ‘We Can be Heroes’ is in development at Netflix. Robert Rodriguez will direct the superhero flick.
The actress shared the exciting news about the sequel of her movie 10 days after its release on Netflix. Reportedly, the movie received unprecedented viewership during Christmas week last year.
‘We Can Be Heroes’ was a spin-off of ‘The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl’ and a part of the Spy Kids franchise. It was directed by written Robert Rodriguez. WCBH Features Jonas as Ms. Granada and Pedro Pascal as superhero Marcus Moreno.
The cast of the movie also includes YaYa Gosselin, Boyd Holbrook, Adriana Barraza, Sung Kang, Taylor Dooley, and Christian Slater.

The movie is about the heroic contribution of the kids of superheroes when their parents are held captive by alien invaders. Priyanka Chopra Jonas is expected to have a starry start to 2021 with ‘The White Tiger’ releasing on Netflix in January. She will also be seen in ‘The Matrix 4’.
