VSG Binge’s film ‘Suicide or Murder’ based on Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise: Reports

Produced by Vijay Shekhar Gupta’s VSG Binge, ‘Suicide or Murder’, featuring debutant Sachin Tiwari, will chronicle the life and struggles of an ‘outsider’ in the industry while establishing that Bollywood is run by a closed syndicate.

As revealed by the title, the three-hour-long film will shed light on the condition of the Bollywood Film Industry today. As per reports, the story will not only address Sushant Singh Rajput’s unfortunate demise but also many others preceding him, like Divya Bharti and Jiah Khan, who fell into the clutches of industry elitism.

‘Suicide or Murder’, according to its makers, will break the myth of nepotism in Bollywood and unmask the Bollywood mafias that seem to operate in it. Most importantly, the film will focus on the plight of outsiders, surviving in the industry and how their careers are systematically sabotaged by industry bigshots.

As per the filmmakers, the script of ‘Suicide or Murder’ will be finalised by the end of August. Post finalising the script, the shooting crew is scheduled for a rough two-month shoot in Mumbai and Punjab.

The recent poster reveal of ‘Suicide or Murder’ on the official Instagram feed of VSG Binge has taken the world of netizens by storm. While hundreds of comments have protested against this film and called it out as a cheap attempt to make money out of death, some comments have applauded the effort of the film to unmask the true reality of the Bollywood industry today.

Even after an entire month, the internet has still not been able to accept the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Shortly after his death, his last film, Dil Bechara’s release was announced. Releasing on Disney+Hotstar, Dil Bechara is an adaptation of John Green’s novel, The Fault In Our Stars, starring Rajput, Sanjana Sanghi and Swastika Mukherjee.
