Yeh Saali Aashiqui is now available for streaming on ZEE5. The film released in cinemas in 2019 and received praise from critics and audience alike.
The popular Indian streaming platform earlier released the trailer for the film which is quite gripping and has definitely raised our interest.
ZEE5 also announced the release of the film on Twitter with the caption, “Pyaar-Vyaar sab dhokha hai, bhaag lo beta mauka hai!”
Yeh Saali Aashiqui is about Sahil and Mittee, who meet in college and eventually fall in love. But their lives take a sharp turn due to an unfortunate incident.
The film features newcomers Shivaleekha Oberoi and Vardhan Puri, who is also the grandson of actor Amrish Puri, playing the lead characters. It also stars Ruslaan Mumtaz and Amit Arora in pivotal roles.
Puri reportedly visited a mental hospital and the Central Jail to get deeper into his complicated character. Talking about the nuances of his part, he said:
It is emotionally one of the most difficult yet satisfying phases of my life playing Sahil Mehra. It’s like playing five different characters at the same time. Since the character is so layered and nuanced, there are so many emotions involved. Sahil reacts very quickly and is an extremist.
Yeh Saali Aashiqui will explore the “two sides of truth”. Who is deceiving and who is telling the truth is something that we would have to watch the film to find out.
Directed by Cherag Ruparel, the plot will showcase the dark side of love. The trailer promises an interesting watch with unexpected twists and long-buried secrets waiting to be unravelled.
