Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy – Kingdom unleashes beast wars

Netflix has dropped the official trailer and key art for ‘Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy – Kingdom’. The third and final chapter of the anime Transformers series explores how Autobots, in a race to locate the Allspark, band together with the Maximals waging the Beast Wars.

‘Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy – Kingdom’ takes the story forward after the Autobots and Decepticons crash-land on pre-Ice Age Earth, where they realize that they have new rivals in two warring factions of beasts — Maximals and Predacons — who have travelled from the future to change the fate of the war for Cybertron, unwittingly inflicted by their conflict.

The race for the missing AllSpark gets exciting as Autobots join Maximals in war against the Decepticons, who team up with the Predacons.

The trailer showcases the final battle between arch-rivals Optimus Prime, the leader of Autobots, and Megatron, the leader of Decepticons, that will decide the fate of Cybertron’s future.

‘Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy – Kingdom’ is part of a multimedia project launched by Hasbro alongside its new line of Transformers toys.

The War for Cybertron series delves deep into the history of Autobots and Decepticons since the G1 era when Optimus Prime and Megatron were friends.

The first installment of the trilogy explores how both become enemies and leaders of two opposing factions that brings chaos in their homeworld Cybertron.

The second installment brings their war to the Earth while the third and final installment introduces the Beast Wars brand to the franchise.

‘Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy – Kingdom’ is produced by Rooster Teeth for Netflix with animation studio, Polygon Pictures. 

The series will start streaming from July 29.
