With detailed interviews of his family members and Gates himself, it is sure to reveal a lot of interesting information about his personal and professional life.
From Microsoft’s rise since its inception in 1975 to problems in his personal life. “I gave my mom a hard time by not following what she wanted,” says Gates in the trailer.
The documentary description reads, ” This documentary tells Bill Gates’ life story, in-depth and unfiltered, as he pursues unique solutions to some of the world’s most complex problems.”
It is also mentioned that Gates is a great multitasker and has a “hyperfocused” mind which he uses to crack near impossible problems. His worst fear is that his brain could stop working. Furthermore, the trailer shows the change of direction Gates took after Microsoft to focus on energy, disease eradication, and climate change.
“It is important that we start deploying solution unnaturally fast,” adds Gates. Having the talent of looking at problems through unusual angles, Gates is known to be at his best when “the deck is stacked against him”.
The 3 part docu-series will premier on Netflix on 20 September 2019. It has been directed by academy award-winning director Davis Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth, He Named Me Malala)
