DC Universe’s original show, Titans is set to return for its second season on 6 September 2019. A new trailer was released earlier today and it had a lot of reveals and easter eggs for excited fans.
The trailer provided a first look at Iain Glen as Bruce Wayne but did not show him as the caped crusader. Furthermore, it also revealed Joshua Orpin as Superboy and Esai Morales as the mercenary, Deathstroke. Superman’s dog Krypto also made an appearance.
There was no direct hint at the potential plot for the show. However, the clip looked very relatable to another popular DC animated series, Young Justice. It revolves around a group of young superheroes with the likes of the original Titans like Nightwing, Starfire and new heroes like Superboy and Aqualad among others.
With the inclusion of many new faces in Titans season 2, the show could be heading towards a similar setting as Young Justice. The Justice League is a major part of the animated show and may make a brief appearance in Titans as well.
Titans also stars Brenton Thwaites (Dick Grayson/Robin), Teagan Croft (Rachel Roth/Raven), Anna Diop (Kory Anders/Starfire) Ryan Potter (Gar Logan/Beast Boy), Minka Kelly (Dawn Granger/Dove), Alan Ritchson (Hank Hall/Hawk) and, Curran Walters (Jason Todd/Robin).
