The production house of Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti has launched a series on YouTube, called Off The Record.
The series aims to delve deep into the making of some iconic scenes of the films produced by Tiger Baby Films. It will give the fans of those films a glimpse into the mindset of the actors while preparing for the scene.
Along with that, Off The Record will also give the fans the little stories that are made and stay behind the scenes. The description of the series states:
Here’s introducing our Off The Record series where cast and crew from the Tiger Baby clan let us in on what went into creating some of their best scenes, what their psychology was in that moment and why this particular scene will always remain unforgettable to them.
The first celebrity to feature in the web series was Farhan Akhtar. He talked about a scene from the film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. The film is about three friends who go on a vacation and end up rediscovering themselves.
Akhtar discussed the scene where his character meets his biological father. It was a crucial scene for the character as it teaches him some important lessons; this was the one scene that brings it all home for him. “The peeling of the layers of who Imran really is,” Akhtar further added.
Akhtar admitted being nervous and anxious before shooting the scene; the fact that he had to perform with Naseeruddin Shah added to it.
At a time when it is very difficult to produce films and content, Off The Record is trying to give the audience something new that has been extracted from the old bits.
