Kahaanikar Sudhanshu Rai‘s thriller series ‘Detective Boomrah’ is all set to release on January 21. The Saints Art Original Series will see the filmmaker in the lead role of the detective while his partner, Sam will be played by Raghav Jhingran.
The first chapter of this web series is ‘The Missing Man’ which focuses on a man who commits suicide by jumping off the terrace of a hotel but his dead body is nowhere to be found further revealing the hidden tales of the Heritage Hotel.
The ensemble cast includes Shobhit Sujay, Abhishek Sonpaliya and Priyanka Sarkar – along with Akhlaq Ahmad (Azad), Manisha Sharma and Garima Rai.
Director and actor, Sudhanshu Rai said:
“Detective Boomrah is a character that I created years back and has ever since been loved by my audience. Unlike other iconic detective characters, he is not bound by geographical, celestial or reality constraints, rather he sees beyond what others even fail to notice.”

“Detective Boomrah as a fictional character fills the gap of contemporary detectives in literary or motion arts. Almost all the characters we see are classical, made to fit into the contemporary, but it is for the first time that the audience would get acquainted with a detective that is modern and a kind of content that is extremely intriguing and entertaining at the same time.”
Sudhanshu Rai and Puneet Sharma co-produced the web series. Anant Rai serves as the co-director and creative producer.
