Hungama Play recently announced on their social media handles the release of a new short film titled @ThisConnected.
The official synopsis of the short film reads as follows:
Sameer is an unhappily married man to Antara for four years. He takes to social media to vent out his frustrations, while his loyal, dutiful and loving housewife unsuspectingly continues to live in normalcy. Things take a turn when Sameer meets an interesting acquaintance online. In a realm of being disconnected, could Sameer find a unique connection?
Written and directed by Ashish Desai, @ThisConnected features Nikhil Sangha (Sameer) and Swati Vatssa (Antara) in the lead roles.
Sangha has previously featured in Hindi films including Dear Zindagi and Neerja. He will also be seen in Voot Select’s upcoming web series Illegal which stars Neha Sharma in the lead.
Vatssa is known for her roles in Bindass’ Girl In The City, Arre’s Official Chukyagiri and Viu’s Love Lust and Confusion.
The 20-minutes long film also features Ananditaa Singh who was seen in Prime Video’s Inside Edge.
