Netflix released the trailer for its upcoming Polish web series, The Woods. The mini-series will premiere on June 12.
The web series is based on a 25-year-old case of the disappearance of four teenagers. Out of the four who went into the woods, two were found dead, but the other two were never found.
Paweł Kopiński, who never found his sister, is now a Warsaw prosecutor. Although it has been several years, he still grieves the loss of his sister. However, he unexpectedly finds something that seems related to the old case and might help him find her.
The Woods is based on Harlan Coben’s novel of the same name. The web series will bring the secrets of the past to the present; it promises to deliver a package full of suspense and mystery.
The web series stars Grzegorz Damięcki, Agnieszka Grochowska, Wiktoria Filus, and Hubert Miłkowski. It is directed by Leszek Dawid and Bartosz Konopka.
The Woods is not the only Netflix show based on Coben’s novel. The Stranger and Safe were also based on Coben’s novels and received positive responses from mystery lovers.
