Witcher season 3 expands cast with 4 new additions

Four new additions have been made to the cast of The Witcher season 3 as announced by the series recently. Filming for the Netflix production began recently with a picture of the lead cast on location shared online.

The four new cast members announced are Robbie Amell as ‘Gallatin’, Meng’er Zhang as ‘Milva’, Hugh Skinner as ‘Prince Radovid’, and Christelle Elwin as ‘Mistle’.

Gallatin is said to be a guerilla fighter on Nilfgaard’s side, Milva is a huntress from the Brokilon Forest, Prince Radovid is the younger brother of King Vizimir and Mistle is a part of a gang of misfits called The Rats.

Some of the already announced returning cast are Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, Joey Batey, MyAnna Buring, Tom Canton, Jeremy Crawford, Eamon Farren, Mahesh Jadu, Terence Maynard, Lars Mikkelsen, Mimî M Khayisa and Royce Pierreson.

The series will be directed by Stephen Surjik, Gandja Monteiro, Loni Peristere and Bola Ogun.

An animated origin story film, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, was released on August 23, 2021, while a prequel miniseries, The Witcher: Blood Origin, will be released in 2022.
