Amazon Prime Video has released the teaser for its new original series ‘The Wheel of Time.’ It is based on the epic fantasy series by American author Robert Jordan.
‘The Wheel of Time’ is inspired by a fourteen lengthy fantastical book series. The books envision a world full of complex cultures, powerful female characters and haunted heroes.
The teaser trailer sets the base of Jordan’s world with a focus on Moraine Damodred and the Aes Sedai, a group of powerful female magic wielders. It also gives the first glimpse at the different colour-coded orders of Aes Sedai.
The cast for ‘Wheel of Time’ consists but is not limited to Rosamund Pike, Madeleine Madden, Marcus Rutherford, Barney Harris, Zoë Robins, and Josha Stradowski.
The show was greenlighted back in 2018 but the production was delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Amazon Prime Video’s ‘The Wheel of Time’ will premiere on November 19 with three episodes. Later, new episodes will be released weekly every Friday.
