The trailer for TVF’s and MX Player’s new original series The Insiders has been released on YouTube to positive reactions. With their track record of giving us great shows like Pitchers, Tripling and Permanent Roommates, the expectations from this one are at an all time high.
It looks like an exciting teenage drama that centers on the lives of four misfits who start a club which meets every Saturday while their parents socialise.
It deals with the idea of ‘millennials’ using their imagination to escape from the reality of growing up, dealing with bizarre situations as their mind cooks up even weirder circumstances. These are the adventures of Shiv, Rabbi, Aneesh and Shravya against the world.
The YouTube description of the show is:
“What would you do if you were locked in a room with a bunch of people every Saturday? On nights when the Wi-Fi was slow… they used their imagination to survive. This April, you are in for a surprise as a bunch of millennial’s come together to create a self-proclaimed club called the INSIDERS! Be ready to welcome ‘ordinary kids with an extraordinary mission on board.”
The five-episode series starts streaming on 12th April only on TVF Play and MX Player.
The show is written by Pranav Bhasin, Seloni Edoliya, Ibad Shaikh and Saarth Padmakar and is directed by Pranav Bhasin. It stars Omkar Kulkarni, Ritvik Joshi, Arnav Bhasin and Himika Bose.
