Netflix has announced that the fourth season of sci-fi drama ‘The Umbrella Academy’ will be the final part of the series.

Season 3 saw the Hargreeves siblings attempt to save the world for the third time in a row. However, they are caught up in a grand scheme cooked up by their ‘father’, Reginald Hargreeves.

Called ‘Project Oblivion’, Reginald aimed to get to the top of the world as well as resurrect his deceased wife Abigail. By the end of the season, he was able to achieve this, leaving the siblings in a precarious situation without their powers.

The Umbrella Academy stars Elliot Page (Viktor Hargreeves), Tom Hopper (Luther Hargreeves), David Castañeda (Diego Hargreeves), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Allison Hargreeves), Robert Sheehan (Klaus Hargreeves), Aidan Gallagher (Five), Justin H. Min (Ben Hargreeves), Ritu Arya (Lila) and Colm Feore (Reginald Hagreeves), among more.

Steve Blackman serves as the showrunner, while the producers include Kevin Lafferty, Sneha Koorse, Jamie Neese, Jason Reese, Ted Miller, Steve Wakefield and D.J. Carson.

There is no official release date for the final season yet.
