Netflix has launched the trailer for its upcoming anime film ‘The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light on Netflix’. The release date is October 1. It first came out in Japan on July 2.
The official synopsis reads: “Meliodas and his friends jump back into action when the new era of peace is threatened by a powerful magical alliance that could spell the end for all.”
The film is set after the events of ‘The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgment’, which sees the sins defeating the Demon King and bringing peace back to the world. However, the aforementioned magical alliance isn’t too pleased about the Seven Deadly Sins preventing another Holy War.
In a survey last year, it was revealed that The Seven Deadly Sins was the most popular Netflix Original anime in 127 countries across the world, claiming the first spot.
