Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker coming to Disney+ Hotstar on May the fourth

Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker will be released on Disney+ Hotstar Premium on Star Wars Day, May 4.

After The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, this is the third installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy and the last episode of the Skywalker Saga.

In this episode, Rey is seen leading the final stand of the Resistance against Kylo Ren and the First Order. It follows Rey’s journey as she struggles to accept her true heritage and defeat Emperor Palpatine, who returns from the dead and pulling the strings.

The cast of the film includes Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, and more. The Rise of Skywalker is directed by J. J. Abrams, who has also co-written the script of the film with Chris Terrio.

The film was released in theaters at the end of last year and grossed more than $1 billion worldwide. However, fans and critics were not pleased with the saga’s ending and the film did not receive very positive reviews. Episode IX, therefore, has a 6.7 rating on IMDB and an approval rating of 52% on Rotten Tomatoes.
