Netflix has revealed the first look for The Professor from its upcoming Korean thriller series Money Heist: Korea — Joint Economic Area.
Releasing on June 24, the show is an adaptation of the Spanish thriller Money Heist, which revolves around a group of strangers who rob the Royal Mint in Spain and the Bank of Spain.
The names of the robbers are based on cities from around the world such as Tokyo, Rio, and Berlin. The Korean version follows the same format and names.
The adaptation is set in a future where North and South Korea are on the brink of peaceful reunification.
With a new unified currency set to be printed, The Professor form a group of strangers from the North and South to steal it.
The new masks of the gang were also revealed recently in a clip.
