The Princess Switch 2: Netflix is set to switch again this Christmas

Sometimes, the only way to counter a switch is to switch back. Netflix has finally dropped the trailer for The Princess Switch 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the first film that premiered in 2018 starring Vanessa Hudgens, Vanessa Hudgens, and well…Vanessa Hudgens.

Titled The Princess Switch 2: Switched Again, the film is helmed by Mike Rohl and written by Robin Bernheim and Megan Metzger. Hudgens will once again take the lead alongside Nick Sagar, Sam Palladio, and Lachlan Nieboer.

As per the official description: “When Margaret’s Christmas coronation complicates her love life, her double Stacy steps in to save the day. But will a third look-alike ruin their plan?”

Picking up from where the first film left us, Margaret and Kevin have broken up due to long-distance barriers, however, Stacy still believes that her best friend Kevin is the one for Margaret.

Offering to switch again to make things right the duo is ready to set off on another adventure, but the stakes are high with another royal pursuing Margaret and a third look-alike cousin, Fiona, who has her own agenda.

Since the sequel begins directly after the events of the first one, there’s no escaping watching it. Still, with the warm goodies of the upcoming season and a fun setting as the film promises, the journey will be nothing short of fun.

The streamer has already released Holidate, Operation Christmas Drop, and Dash and Lily from its list of Christmas releases planned for the year. November will also see titles like Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey and Dolly Parton’s Christmas on the Square with a lot left in store for the upcoming month.

The Princess Switch 2 is slated to premiere on November 19. Check out the trailer below:
