TheNetflix has released the trailer of season 2 of the Japanese comedy-drama, ‘The Naked Director’. The final season of the semi-biographical web series will start streaming from June 24, 2021.
Co-directed by Masaharu Take and Kotaro Goto, the web series is based on the non-fiction novel ‘Zenra Kantoku Muranishi Toru Den’ written by Nobuhiro Motohashi. It revolves around the life of Japanese adult video director Toru Muranishi.
After facing many setbacks to fulfil his dream of turning the adult film industry in season one, Muranishi aims to expand his business in the second and final season of the web series by launching his own satellite TV channel.
Will he be able to handle the repercussions of losing everything to his ambition?
Produced by Yasuhito Tachibana and Hiroyuki Akune, The Naked Director Season 2 stars Takayuki Yamada, Yuri Tsunematsu, Shinnosuke Mitsushima, Tetsuji Tamayama, Misato Morita, Koyuki, Pierre Taki, Lily Franky and Jun Kunimura.
