Netflix has released the trailer for the second season of Japanese comedy-drama ‘The Naked Director’. The series stars Takyuki Yamada in the role of a director who broke records in the adult film industry.
‘The Naked Director’ is based on the life of adult film director Toru Muranishi, officially described by the creators as “a pioneer of prohibited broadcasting and a favorite son of the era”. The series follows his ambitious adventures in revolutionizing his industry.
Other than following through Muranishi’s journey, the second season will throw light on Kaoru Kuroki, another figure in the same industry remembered as a pioneer of the expression of femininity.
