Apple has released the teaser for its first original: The Morning Show. The series boasts a stellar award-winning cast with Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carell and Reese Witherspoon.

The original series is set to release over Apple TV+.

The Morning Show is described by Apple as a drama “that pulls back the curtain on early morning TV”.

While the trailer does not reveal any faces, audiences can hear dialogues by three members of the cast. As per the trailer, Carell is all set to play a journalist named Mitch.

Brian Stelter, author of the book Top of the Morning will be a consultant on the sets of the new series. The book revolves around American morning show wars and was also used for the purpose of the show. Stelter is also a reporter and anchor at the popular American news channel CNN.

The exact date of the premiere for the show has not been revealed yet. However, Apple TV plus is set to launch a lineup of shows and its streaming service by fall 2019.

Earlier this year, Apple also revealed details for its other original See. The series revolves around a dangerous virus engulfing the earth which leaves only a few million survivors behind – all of whom are left blind. The show will be revealing Game of Thrones star Jason Mamoa in the lead.

Interestingly, Apple has spent a whopping $15 million per episode for the new show, making it one of the most expensive series production.

Additionally, major names like Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey are set to be part of Apple TV+. Spielberg is all set to produce “Amazing Stories” which is a project close to his childhood days.

Moreover, Winfrey will be producing two docuseries revolving around important social matters like sexual assault and mental health.
