Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming Spanish thriller web series titled, The Minions of Midas.
The show is based on a short story of the same name (Los Favoritos de Midas in Spanish) by author Jack London in 1901.
The six-part series will follow the story of Victor Genovés, a businessman who is threatened to transfer €50 million to an anonymous account via a letter by a crime syndicate.
His failure to do so would result in the murder of unknown people in the days to follow. Genovés gets the authorities involved but the criminal organisation, known as The Minions of Midas, is a challenging foe to deal with.
According to the official description:
“Victor Genovés has an important choice to make. What would you do?“
The series stars Luis Tosar, Valientes’ Marta Belmonte, Marta Milans, Guillermo Toledo, and Adolfo Fernández. It will premiere exclusively on Netflix on November 13.
