The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel hits the road in season 3 trailer

The winner of 16 Emmy Awards and 3 Golden Globes, the much-acclaimed comedy, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel has finally released the trailer of the upcoming season 3. As reported earlier, the latest season will premiere on December 6.

The full trailer for season three of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel shows Midge (Rachel Brosnahan) going on the road and getting a real taste of the spotlight outside New York City.

According to Amazon, in season 3 “Midge and Susie discover that life on tour with Shy is glamorous but humbling, and they learn a lesson about show business they’ll never forget. Joel struggles to support Midge while pursuing his own dreams. Abe embraces a new mission and Rose learns she has talents of her own.”

As seen on the trailer, there will be guest appearances from Sterling K. Brown of This Is Us and Liza Weil of Gilmore Girls.

Season 3 will see Rachel Brosnahan back as Midge Maisel, with Alex Borstein as her manager Susie Myerson. The other stars such as Michael Zegen who plays Midge’s (estranged) husband Joel Maisel, Marin Hinkle who plays her mother Rose Weissman and Tony Shalhoub who plays her father Abe Weissman will also be returning for the latest season.

The show is one of Amazon Prime’s valuable asset with all of the Emmy award wins (out of 20 nominations) among the cast including: Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series (Rachel Brosnahan), Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series (Alex Borstein), Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series (Tony Shalhoub), Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series (Luke Kirby), and Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series (Jane Lynch).
