The Line on Apple TV+: Release date, cast and trailer

Apple TV’s upcoming original series, ‘The Line’ is a four-part crime documentary that focuses on the trial of Eddie Gallagher, a US Navy SEAL Chief involved in war crimes and reported by his team members. An audio series of the same is available for listeners on Apple Podcasts.

The Line is produced under the banner of ‘Jigsaw Productions’. The executive producers of this docu-series are Brad Hebert, Richard Perello, Stacey Offman, Joey Marra and Alex Gibney along with Michael Zimbalist and Jeffrey Zimbalist from All Rise Films.

The Line is Apple TV’s first such combo of podcast and TV series. A six-part audio series of ‘The Line’ debuted on Apple Podcasts on April 6.

The series deals with the conviction of Eddie Gallagher in 2018 after he posed for a picture with a dead body. Centred around the war-torn country of Iraq, Eddie’s colleagues share their experiences as witnesses to his terrible wrongdoings.

‘The Line’ contains unseen footage and exclusive interviews of Eddie, his wife and SEAL Team 7 among others that aid in uncovering the truth. The brutal depiction of the entire scenario further unveils the grim realities of the war and the secretive procedures of the SEAL.
