‘The Good Nurse’ on Netflix gets red carpet premiere in New York City

Netflix hosted a red carpet premiere for its upcoming thriller film, ‘The Good Nurse’. It is based on the true story of serial killer Charles Cullen.

The event, which was held in Manhattan, New York, saw leads Eddie Redmayne, Jessica Chastain and director Tobias Lindholm in attendance.

‘The Good Nurse’ follows Amy (Chastain), a compassionate nurse who lives with a life-threatening heart condition. When she faces demanding night shifts at the ICU, help arrives in the form of a new employee, Charlie (Redmayne).

While working long nights at the hospital, the two develop a strong friendship. However, a series of mysterious patient deaths sets off an investigation that points to Charlie as the prime suspect.

The film has released in select theatres across US and will stream on Netflix from October 26.
