The Family Man season 2 officially postponed, creators confirm

The much-anticipated second season of Amazon Prime Video’s espionage thriller web series ‘The Family Man’ has officially been postponed.

Creators Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K made the announcement on Instagram. The duo wrote:

“We know you have been eagerly waiting for the new season of The Family Man. We are truly grateful and humbled by all the love! We have an update for you.

“The Family Man Season 2 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video this summer! We have been working super hard to get you a kickass season. And we are pretty sure you will love it. Can’t wait to bring it to you!”

The new season was all set to release on February 12. The platform even launched the full-length teaser last month.

While the cause for the delay has not been revealed, reports suggest that Amazon Prime Video facing controversies surrounding Tandav and Mirzapur could be the reason.

For now, viewers will have to settle for the “summer” release window.
