‘The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It’, which was released in theatres earlier this year, is set to premiere on Prime Video from December 15.
Originally slated for a September 2020 release, the film was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, releasing in August 2021.
The official synopsis of the film reads: “Arne Cheyenne Johnson stabs and murders his landlord, claiming to be under demonic possession. Ed and Lorraine Warren investigate the case and try to prove his innocence.”
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do is directed by Michael Chaves, with a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick from a story by Johnson-McGoldrick and James Wan. The cast includes Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprising their roles as paranormal investigators and authors Ed and Lorraine Warren, with Ruairi O’Connor, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Julian Hilliard.
The film serves as a sequel to The Conjuring (2013) and The Conjuring 2 (2016), and the eighth instalment in The Conjuring Universe.
