Tekken: Bloodline: Release date, synopsis, teaser & more

‘Tekken: Bloodline’ is a 3D anime series based on Jin Kazama and his quest for vengeance after losing everything that mattered to him.

Release date

The exact date is yet to be revealed. However, a 2022 release on Netflix has been confirmed.


“‘Power is everything.’ Jin Kazama learned the family self-defense arts, Kazama-Style Traditional Martial Arts, from his mother at an early age. Even so, he was powerless when a monstrous evil suddenly appeared, destroying everything dear to him, changing his life forever.

“Angry at himself for being unable to stop it, Jin vowed revenge and sought absolute power to exact it. His quest will lead to the ultimate battle on a global stage — The King of Iron Fist Tournament.”

The series is an adaptation of the ‘Tekken’ video-game franchise by Bandai Namco. 

Netflix has recently adapted other video games to create titles such as Arcane, Monster Hunter: Legend of the Guild, Dota: Dragon’s Blood and Dragon’s Dogma.


Jin Kazama’s mother trains him in the martial-arts style which runs in his family. After his mother’s encounter with a demon, which hints at her being killed, he traces his grandfather for training, who is ruthless in his methods.
