Disney+ Hotstar released the trailer for its upcoming film, ‘Teddy’ which is set to premiere on the platform on March 12. It stars Arya and Sayyeshaa in the lead roles.
Sharing the news on social media Arya captioned:
“Join me, Sayyeshaa and our ’lively’ third-wheel Teddy, in our journey to find the truth behind a medical mystery. Teddy from 12th March on Disney+ Hotstar.”
The official description of the film says:
“Will a talking teddy prove to be Man’s best friend? Witness a bizarre exchange between a loner and a toy bear as they solve medical mysteries against all odds.”
Along with Arya and Sayyeshaa, the Tamil movie also features Karunakaran, Magizh Thirumeni, and Sakshi Agarwal. Shakti Sounder Rajan teamed up with D Imman for direction. Teddy is extensively shot in Azerbaijan.
The first teaser of the movie was released in March 2020. But due to the pandemic and lockdown the movie could not get its theatrical release and will now have a premiere on the OTT platform.
Although it is a Tamil movie, it is expected to be released in Telugu and Malayalam languages as well.
The film will mark Arya and Sayyeshaa’s third film together after ‘Ghajinikanth’ and ‘Kaappaan’.
