Popular comic Zakir Khan has announced that his stand-up special ‘Tathastu’ has been acquired by Amazon Prime Video, along with Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare season 2 and two unnamed specials.
Tathastu has been performed by Khan as part of events and will now finally be available for viewers from the comfort of their home. The exact release date and other details are yet to be announced.
This isn’t the first time Amazon Prime Video is collaborating with the comedian. The first season of his web series Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare proved to be a hit. His specials, Haq Se Single and Kaksha Gyarvi, can also be streamed on the platform.
Khan is known for his unconventional style of stand-up where he attempts to resonate with his audience by cracking jokes high on relatability.
He broke onto the stand-up scene in 2016, when he performed at the AIB Diwas. The clip has 50 million views on YouTube.
