Amazon Prime Video released the trailer of Saif Ali Khan led multi-starrer political drama web series, ‘Tandav’. It will be releasing on January 15.
Tandav also features Dimple Kapadia, Sunil Grover, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Kritika Kamra, Gauahar Khan, Sarah-Jane Dias, Kritika Avasthi, Dino Morea, Anup Soni, Kumud Mishra, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Paresh Pahuja.
This new Amazon original web series has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, written by Gaurav Solanki, and produced by Himanshu Kishan Mehra and Zafar.
Going by the teaser, Saif Ali Khan blends into the avatar of an efficient political leader. Popular and important faces of the series can be seen carrying different emotions and a lot of mystery. Khan is seen waving at a rally of mass supporters, as the voiceover says:
“Hindustan ko sirf ek hi chiz chalati hai, Rajneeti. Iss desh mein jo Pradhan Mantri hai, vo hi raja hai!” (Only one thing runs India, politics. The prime minister is king in this country)
Tandav is expected to be an adroit, tense drama. Taking the audience into the dark, chaotic, manipulative, and power-hungry world of politics. Credible writing supported by powerful performances can really make it a stem-winding watch for the viewers.
