‘Sweet Tooth’ based on Jeff Lemire’s Comic to premiere on Netflix

Netflix is set to present a new web series ‘Sweet Tooth’, which will release on June 4. Executive producer, Robert Downey Jr., recently shared new details.

‘Sweet Tooth’ is based on Jeff Lemire’s comic book by the same name, which was published by DC Comics back in 2009.

‘Sweet Tooth’ is the story of Gus, who was born a hybrid and is half human and half deer. The world that he was born into despises mutants, who were born as a result of an epidemic.

The series is 8 episodes long and will follow Gus’ journey in a world that is not ready to accept him. Downey Jr. recently revealed a new poster for ‘Sweet Tooth’ and mentioned the release of a new trailer as well.

The series stars James Brolin, Dania Ramirez, Will Forte, Stefania LaVie Owen, Nonso Anozie, Christian Convery and Adeel Akhtar, among others. It also features music by composer Jeff Grace.
