Post a three week theatrical run, ZEE Studios’ comedy “Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari”, starring Diljit Dosanjh, Manoj Bajpayee, and Fatima Sanah Sheikh is all set to be available on demand online with ZEE Plex.
Set during the 90s in Mumbai, the film follows Bajpayee’s character, Madhu Mangal Rane, who makes a living by investigating and exposing unfavourable habits of potential grooms to the brides’ families.
Suraj Singh Dhillon (Dosanjh) is one such unfortunate man who is clicked by Rane while having a swig of alcohol, resulting in his marriage being broken off. Refusing to back down, Suraj vows revenge and ends up wooing Rane’s sister, Tulsi (Shiekh).
The film saw a limited theatrical release on Diwali and will be available to buy on ZEE Plex from December 4 for ₹199.
