Sukoon: Akhil Sachdeva composes latest song for It Happened in Calcutta

ALTBalaji has released a new song – Sukoon – for its original web series It Happened in Calcutta.

The soulful number has been sung, written and composed by Akhil Sachdeva who is the voice behind Bollywood hits including Tera Ban Jaunga from Kabir Singh and Humsafar from Badrinath ki Dulhania.

The Karan Kundrra (Ronobir) and Naghma Rizwan (Kusum) starrer is a love story set in the backdrop of Calcutta in the 60s has been officially described as:

It Happened in Calcutta revolves around Kusum, a young girl who aspires to become the first female doctor in the city and gets admission in the Calcutta Medical College to fulfil her dream.”

“In the college she comes across a privileged, cocky, arrogant and devastatingly handsome boy named Ronobir and falls in love with him. But there is more to this tale than what meets the eye. What follows is a series of events that further adds to the twist in the tale.”
