Netflix has released the teaser for the fourth season of their thrilling show Stranger Things with a major detail.
The teaser set in Russia is aptly titled From Russia with love… and shows army staff and workers working in the snow. However, towards the end of the trailer, one of the workers reveals himself to be Chief Jim Hopper (David Harbour).
SPOILER ALERT: Hopper was assumed dead after the blast that took place at the end of season three of the show.
Although there was a hint of him being possibly alive as Russian prison guards are seen saying: “No, not the American” in the post-credits scene of the finale and fans theorised that the “American” mentioned could be Hopper.
The creators of the show Duffer Brothers – Matt and Ross – stated:
“We’re excited to officially confirm that production on Stranger Things 4 is now underway — and even more excited to announce the return of Hopper!”
The Duffer Brothers also teased on the story further by claiming:
“Although it’s not all good news for our ‘American’; he is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human…and other.”
“Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long buried, something that connects everything.”
